Fabien Wecker, MSN, RN, MA, MHFA, CMI(c), Global Clinical Success Manager

Fabien Wecker started his healthcare career as a military nurse in 1994 whilst stationed in Germany and has since evolved in various roles in the civilian settings working on medical telemetry wards, providing inpatient hospice and palliative care, earning certification in sickle cell anemia care, EPIC, BLS/ACLS, and grief support therapy. He served as the lead clinical education specialist at a Magnet® facility in the United States and taught clinical skills workshops to the University of Illinois Medical School program. He transitioned into the role of training consultant for Micromedex® in 2010, providing education to over 18,000 clinicians in 96 countries and four languages.

His primary interests lie in the field of clinical education, ethics, and the implementation of clinical practice guidelines (CPGs) for evidence-based practice (EBP) to promote optimal patient care outcomes. Mr. Wecker freelances as a clinical advisor and continues providing grief therapy sessions to clients dealing with grief and loss as it relates to the health paradigm in private practice. He resides in Surrey, United Kingdom.


Sandeep Makhijani, Micromedex International Leader, Merative Singapore

Sandeep Makhijani has 25 years of global experience in Leadership roles in the Health Tech, Software and IT Services industries. He has worked in the Healthcare sector across international geos for over a decade. He has led several strategic initiatives which have provided consistency in the quality of care, improved patient outcomes and extended Healthcare IT investments for Providers, Payers, Pharma and Life Sciences companies globally.

Sandeep is based in Singapore and currently leads the Micromedex International business at Merative. Merative L.P., formerly IBM Watson Health, is a medical technology company owned by Francisco Partners, an American private equity firm headquartered in San Francisco, California. He earned his undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering and MBA in Marketing, from the University of Bombay. He has earned an Executive MBA from U21Global, Singapore.
