Fabien Wecker

Fabien Wecker started his healthcare career as a military nurse in 1994 whilst stationed in Germany and has since evolved in various roles in the civilian settings working on medical telemetry wards, providing inpatient hospice and palliative care, earning certification in sickle cell anemia care, EPIC, BLS/ACLS, and grief support therapy. He served as the lead clinical education specialist at a Magnet® facility in the United States and taught clinical skills workshops to the University of Illinois Medical School program. He transitioned into the role of training consultant for Micromedex® in 2010, providing education to over 18,000 clinicians in 96 countries and four languages.

His primary interests lie in the field of clinical education, ethics, and the implementation of clinical practice guidelines (CPGs) for evidence-based practice (EBP) to promote optimal patient care outcomes. Mr. Wecker freelances as a clinical advisor and continues providing grief therapy sessions to clients dealing with grief and loss as it relates to the health paradigm in private practice. He resides in Surrey, United Kingdom.
